Fable 3 Dankwater Cavern help?

I've done the Hobnobbing with Hobbes quest but the pathway further into the cave is still blocked by a wall. I slept for about a week and did some other quests after the Hobbes one, but the wall won't go away. Does anyone know what's going on? Is there a bug or something?
