I betrayed my love, dieing of guilt ... What to do ?

i have a loving boyfriend and am happy with him .... However i have a friend who i often meet over fb chat though he is in a different place now, we end up chatting so much and sharing a lot often, infatuation used to happen at times so we both just cut it off .... And today after many months, he was upset over his gf leaving for abroad and we ended up chattin again, me consoling him till wee hours of the morning, he ended up saying that he loves me and that if i choose him, he would want to marry me and would do anything for me.... I do have feelings for him, as a good friend maybe, theres this intense attraction but i just avoided the situation and said goodbye.... I am having a severe guilt trip ... As if i let my boyfriend's trust down...
