Good homemade decorations for a teen girl bedroom?

I'm working on my bedroom and I'd like to make some decorations. I'm painting my walls light purple in a couple of weeks and I need to go through everything in my room. I cleared up A LOT of storage by putting a lot of my pictures into frames and into a couple of collages. My mom laughed and said, "You and your collages!" I'm almost fifteen and my room still gives off a kid vibe to me. I'm getting rid of a lot of stuff, like art I did in middle school. I am keeping my wood shop projects though. Don't suggest collages please cause I'm making more once I get some magazines I can cut up. I have beads, glue, foam, foam glue (heehee), computer paper, colored pencils, paints, canvas (I'm a painter), and I was thinking of doing something with my card collection. I have cards backing from the time I was seven up until now. By cards I mean Christmas and birthday cards. I also take the pictures from my calender and put them on the wall as posters. I love taking pictures, but I won't be taking any until next month when I'm on vacation with my family. Any other ideas of what to do with my pictures besides putting them in frames, on my cork board, and in collages? I have photo albums, but I like to have my pictures out in the open. Sorry for so much detail, but I thought some of the info might help!
